Io Master Benetton, a team built with many pieces of Treviso squad, became the champion of the U-22 Jesolo Summer League after beating Viva in the final. Brazilian Rafael Maia ('91) was named MVP of the tournament, Andrea Renzi ('89) finished as the best scorer, Jakub Wojciechowski ('90) -at the pic- as the best rebounder and Simone Bonfiglio ('88) as the best passer. -Io Master Benetton 95 Viva 64: Polish center Jakub Wojciechowski ('90), loaned this year from Benetton to Casalpusterlengo (Lega2) and after to Brescia (A dilettanti), crashed the stats with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 3 steals. He was also helped by Andrea Renzi ('89), member of Serie A squad but injured all the season. The forward poured 16 points and pulled down 9 rebounds. For Viva shined Marco Bona ('89), from Cremona, with 14 and 2/4 threes, while Daniele Mastrangelo ('91), from Udine (C dilettanti), added 11 with 3 boards. Box score.

 

Game for the 3rd/4th position:

 

-Tecnomeccanica 74 Rossl & Duso 72: Riccardo Truccolo ('89), from Udine (Lega2), led the winners with 15 points and 4/8 threes, while montenegrin Djordje Kavaric ('89), from Corato (B dilettanti), added 14 with 8 boards. At the other side Davide Bonacini ('90), from Fidenza (A dilettanti), had 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. His teammate Davide Rosignoli ('88), from Ozzano (A dilettanti), had a double-double (18 points and 11 rebounds) like his other teammate Stefano Sipizzichini ('90), also from Ozzano, with a 16+12. -Dalla Riva 68 Canevel International 86: No option for Dalla Riva, beaten easy by a team led by brazilian MVP Rafael Maia ('91) with 26 points (10/19 FG), 9 rebounds and 5 steals. Beside him also shined swedish Egal Saleman ('88), from Sundsvall (Sweden), with 18 points, 5 steals and a 30 valoration. The best of Dalla Riva were Federico Blardone ('89), from Potenza (B dilettanti), with 14 points and 2/4 threes, and Mathias Drigo ('89), from Trapani (A dilettanti), with 12 and 2/5 from downtown.
