Lucas Riva ('92) is being one of the big names of the U-18 FIBA Americas Championship, currently held in San Antonio (Texas). The 7 feet center, currently at spanish Asefa Estudiantes, is one of the keys of Brazil. The yellow squad will play today the final of the tournament against USA. Tough mission for them, but at least they already took a spot for the U-19 World Championship of next summer in Latvia. Yesterday, in the semifinals. Brazil beat Argentina (70-56) with a great performance of Riva: 16 points, 12 rebounds and 8 blocks in only 26 minutes. But that's not all. Other teams suffered him, like Canada (13+9+6) or Puerto Rico (20+12+8).

Check this video of him during the U-18 spanish final round tournament, some weeks ago in Teguise (Lanzarote, Canary Islands).
