Yesterday started a new edition of the U-16 Riom Tournament, in France. Local team, Bulgaria and Poland are preparing the Division "A" EC, while Slovenia will participate in the Division "B" competition. Polish guard Norman Zuber ('94) finished as the best scorer of this first day, leading his team to an easy win over Bulgaria (93-62). The prospect nailed 28 points (11/18 FG), with 5 rebounds and 3 assists. 1.77 point-guard Jan Grzelinski ('94) added 10 points, 5 steals and 3 assists. For Bulgaria, that was losing 20-6 at minute 5, Anton Dikov ('94) scored 14 points pulling down 6 boards. His teammate Denislav Vutev ('94) added 10, also with 6 rebounds.

 

In the other game France, the favorite in the tournament, beat Slovenia easy (57-81) with a great job of Mouhamadou Jaiteh ('94), who had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 2 steals. For the Bleus also shined Anthony Racine ('94) with 10 points and 2/3 from downtown and guard Charly Maraux ('94) with 10 and 3 assists. For Slovenia Jan Rizman ('94) scored 11 with 3/8 threes and Jakob Strazar ('94), from Jance, with 11 and 5 boards.
