Panathianikos finished as the best U-16 team of the greek final round championship, held last days in Kymi in a Final 6 system. In the most important game, played in the third day, PAO beat Mantoulides (79-67) with 23 points from Kyprianos Maragkos ('94), at the pic. Greens finished with a 5-0 record and with three players being awarded. The power-forward and Thomas Vasileiou ('94) were in the All-Tournament Team, while Thanos Hanias ('94) finished as the MVP according to greek federation.

 

Final standings: PAO (5-0), Mantoulides (4-1), Kronos Agiou Dimitriou (3-2), Kavala (2-3), AGS Ioanninon (1-4) and Kentavros Livadeias (0-5).

 

Best scorers: Nikolas Pjevalica ('94, Kavala) 26.4, Ioannis Anagnostakis ('94, AGS Ioanninon) 25.4 and Kyprianos Maragkos ('94, PAO) 23.0.
