Serbia will be one of the main outsiders this summer in Vilnius (Lithuania), trying to defend their U-18 gold medal of last year in Metz (France). Last week-end they continued with their preparation winning the Cisternino Tournament, in Brindisi (Italy). After a first win against Germany they beat Poland (80-71) in the second day and Italy (78-62) in the third. Let's check who were the best serbians in these games. Against polish shined Bozo Dumic ('92) with 17 points, while Petar Lambic ('92) added 10. Yesterday, against italians, Nikola Siladi ('92) and Nemanja Besovic ('92) finished as their best scorers with 17, helped by Djordje Drenovac ('92), who is playing in Austria, with 13. For italians Marco Ceron ('92) poured 20 points.

 

Talking about the other games of second and third day Italy lost against Germany (48-52) even Marco Ceron ('92), who scored 15. For germans Mathis Mönninghoff ('92) nailed 11. Finally yesterday germans added a seconv win, in this case over Poland (61-66). Philipp Neumann ('92) led Germany with 21 points and Martin Breunig ('92), who will play next year for St. John's Northwestern Military Academy's post graduate program.

 

Final standings in Martinsicuro: Serbia (3-0), Germany (2-1), Italy (1-2) and Poland (0-3).
