Second day of the Detur European Championship Division "C", with 2.23 Samuel Deguara ('91) appearing for Malta, but not enough against Denmark (86-73). The current center of Benetton Treviso, after being sidelined in the opener, poured 23 points (9/18 FG), grabbed 8 rebounds and had 1 steal in 27 minutes. For danish squad Rasmus Soeby ('89) scored 3 points (1/5 FG) in 14'. In this same group B Scotland beat San Marino (69-83). For scotish side Daniel Donnelly ('89) finished as the best scorer of the team (17 points and 9 rebounds in 22'). Enrico Zanotti ('90) nailed 10 points (5/11) for San Marino.
And what happened in group A? Andorra added its second win in two games after crashing Gibraltar (51-93). Guillem Colom ('91) nailed 9 points and pulled down 3 rebounds in 22 minutes for winners. At the other side Sam Buxton ('89) had 8 points, 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Finally Wales beat Moldova (55-64). The best of the winners was a prospect: Andrew St. John ('89). Guard scored 15 points with 6/12 FG.
