Germany is preparing its participation in the U-18 Division "A" European Championship, that will be held in Vilnius (Lithuania). Team coached by Kay Blümel has finished with a 1-2 record in the slovenian tournament of Skofja Loka, beating hosts and losing against Montenegro and Israel. Let's check the best germans in Slovenia.
In the opener Germany lost against Montenegro (85-76). Forward Patrick Heckmann ('92) scored 17 points, Dennis Kramer ('92) 16 and Martin Breunig ('92) 15. In the second day they beat Slovenia (73-77). The best scorers of the win were Mathis Mönninghoff ('92) with 14 and three players more with 12: Heckmann, Philipp Neumann ('92) and Mario Blessing ('92). Finally they were victim of Israel (60-67), even Breunig with 14 and Ole Wendt ('92) -at the pic- with 13.
