The Detur Division "C" European Championship, held in Malta, finished with Denmark winning the title after beating Andorra in the final. The organization awarded the All-Tournament Team, with one prospect between them: Samuel Deguara ('91), from Malta. The rest of players were Xavi Galera (Andorra) as MVP, Joshua Jackson (Malta), Steve Leven (Scotland) and Peter Johansen (Denmark).

 

2.23 center Deguara, from Benetton Treviso, averaged 18.5 points (56% twos and 80% FT), 10.0 rebounds and 1.0 block. Malta finished third. The player was also awarded with the Fair-Play trophy.
