Spain, France, Turkey and Greece started yesterday their participation in the U-16 Vegadeo Tournament (Spain), preparing the European Championship that will be held in Bar (Montenegro) in some weeks. Hosts, the current european champions, beat greek squad easy (78-55) with the two guards of DKV Joventut, Albert Homs ('94) and Agustí Sans ('95), finishing as their best scorers with 12 points each. Forward Edgar Vicedo ('94) added 9. Greeks struggled. Alexis Mitsialos ('94) poured 10 points for them, the same as Diamantis Slaftsakis ('94). 

 

In the other contest France beat Turkey (71-65) even Burak Haciismail ('94), with 16 points and 2 boards, and Talat Altunbey ('94), making a double-double (11 points and 10 boards).

 

Today, Greece-Turkey and Spain-France.
