Nikola Ivanovic ('94) and Przemek Karnowski ('93) -at the pic-, two of the big names of this summer in youth competitions, have signed for new teams, but staying in their home countries. The shooting-guard of Montenegro will play for KK Mornar, while 7-feet center of Poland will do it for Sport School Cetniewo.
Ivanovic, from Joker Podgorica was named in the All-Tournament Team of the last U-16 Division "A" European Championship, held in Bar (Montenegro), after finishing with 22.8 points, 5.6 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 3.1 steals. No comment. Karnowski, who was playing with Torun, won the Silver medal on last U-17 World Championship ending with 14.5 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2 blocks. He also help to qualify Poland to the U-19 WC of next year after finishing sixth in the U-18 EC: 9.2 points and 6.9 boards.
