Today the Qualifying Rounds of the Euroleague started with many Eurohopes players looking for a dream and make one of the two spots available in the final tournament. Serbian power-forward Milan Macvan ('89), from Hemofarm Vrsac, showed his potential becoming one of the stars of the opener, leading his team to the win against Galil Gilboa (84-97). The international prospect collected a 34 valoration with 31 points (13/16 twos and 5/6 FT), 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Will be this the year of Macvan? He will be eligible for next NBA Draft. His goal? Maybe.
What other prospect shined today? Safak Edge ('92). The turkish guard scored 13 points (3/8 threes) and dished 5 assists in 24 minutes, but Banvit lost at home against Le Mans (72-78).
