The Basketball without Borders Europe camp of last week in Barcelona showed us some of the best players of the continent born in 1993 (also some 1994). There were some prospects that for different reasons didn't go, like british Devon Van Oostrum ('93), ukranian Olexiy Len ('93), lithuanian Tauras Jogela ('93), serbian Nemanja Bezbradica ('93) or swedish Marcus Eriksson ('93), but the ones who came went back home with great sensations. Eurohopes staff travelled to Barcelona and after a practice in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper we asked to different players their opinion about the camp.
Przemek Karnowski ('93, Poland): "Is has been a fantastic event because many european players can come and play together. Also interesting with the NBA bringing coaches and players. They've made good practices".
Nikola Ivanovic ('94, Montenegro): "Is has been a good oportunity to improve our skills. Is the top-50 most talented players of our age in Europe, being a good chance to compete and see the level of each country in Europe also. I'm born in 1994, so for me has been hard to play against 1993 guys also".
Sergey Karasev ('93, Russia), at the pic: "It has been a very good camp, with great players of whole Europe. I was in the Jordan Brand Classic last year, so I know many players and we are good friends. Great organization. Thank you to all coaches and staff".
