Victor Paun ('94) increases the list of romanians leaving their country this summer and joining a school in USA. The 1.99 forward will go to Orlando (Florida) at the same place as Vlad Popovici ('94): West Oaks Academy. Paun competed this summer with his NT in the Division "B" U-16 European Championship in Tallinn (Estonia), averaging 7.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks in less than 25 minutes. Like Popovici, he has received a scholarship there.

 

Some days ago we talked also about Alexandru Olah ('93), who will play in Indiana for Traders Point Christian High School. Romanian Vlad Moldoveanu ('88) is also in USA: American University (NCAA).
