Best scorer of the Euroleague's first round. Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic ('89), from Cibona Zagreb, nailed 28 points in the losing effort at Palau Blaugrana against Regal FC Barcelona (80-66). The forward showed great things, finishing with good percentages (8/16 twos, 3/7 threes and 3/3 ft), adding 3 rebounds and 2 steals. In the same game of group C his teammate Leon Radosevic ('90) had 15 points, 9 boards and 5 assists, while local rising star Ricky Rubio ('90) collected a 25 valoration in only 24 minutes: 14 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. -Giorgi Shermadini ('89, Olimpija Ljubljana): The 2.16 georgian center loaned from Panathinaikos scored 11 points (5/6 FG) in 16' coming from the bench in the two-overtimes win over Efes (95-90).
-Jonas Valanciunas ('92, Lietuvos Rytas): The youngster played his first Euroleague game making a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds and 1 block) in only 17 minutes, but lithuanians lost against Fenerbahce (86-69).
