Dutch 1.98 forward Shane Hammink ('94) is one of the most promising rising stars of the Netherlands. The son of former center Geert Hammink played a great U-16 Division "B" European Championship last summer in Tallinn (Estonia), lifting his NT to the fifth final position averaging 17.8 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals. The forward was named in the All-Tournament team of that EC after been selected with ukranian Volodymyr Gerun ('94), english Joshua Ward-Hibbert ('94), slovenian Aleksej Nikolic ('95) and ukranian Danylo Zuikov ('94).
