Two last season Red Star Belgrade players decided to continue their career abroad, in a very rare move from Serbia to Italy. Here is where Fastweb Junior Casale Monferrato of the italian Legadue registered 2.04 power-forward Filip Puljezevic ('92) and 1.99 swingman Jovan Djordjevic Marinkovic ('93) to the Italian Basketball Federation during this week.

Casale Monferrato, whose senior team is led on the bench by historical head-coach Marco Crespi and is now 3-2 in Legadue standings, try-outed the two serbian kids during the preseason and finally decided to strengthen its Youth Program by adding them to the Club’s U-19 team and to senior team practices, too. Puljezevic and Djordjevic Marinkovic, who starred together for Red Star in the Euroleague Junior Tournament in Belgrade last February, will play for both Junior Casale's U-19 team and the club's farm team in the Italian fifth-division. The core of the U-19 team, mostly listing players from 1993 year, reached the fourth-place overall in the U17 Italian National Championship last June, bringing on the top scene scoring-threat Amedeo Della Valle ('93)  -194 cm, son of former Italian NT player Carlo Della Valle- and forward Roberto Francione ('93) -197 cm-, both making the team with the U18 Italian National squad.
