Russians of CSKA and lithuanians of Marciulonis School will play tomorrow the big final of the fourth edition of the Champion's Cup, held in Moscow from Sunday. Both won today their semifinals games. CSKA crashed ASVEL Villeurbanne (82-41), 48-22 at half time, with a great team job. All russian prospects scored, with 1.85 guard Alaksandar Gavrilovic ('96) nailing 12 points and pulling down 7 rebounds. In the other semifinal contest Marciulonis School beat FMP Belgrade (67-51) with three players shining in a great level: Audrius Karvelis ('96) -at the pic- 17 points and 8 rebounds, Tautvydas Paliukenas ('96) 15 points and 12 rebounds and Domantas Pavlovskis ('96) 14 points and 12 rebounds. At the losing effort Nemanja Roncevic ('96) added 15 and Ivan Daskalovic ('96) 10 with 13 boards.

-Group A: CSKA (Russia) 68 Cherkaski (Ukraine) 64, FMP (Serbia) 88 Keizamerz (Latvia) 75,  Keizamerz 47 CSKA 86, Cherkaski 56 FMP 76, Keizamerz 57 Cherkaski 92 and CSKA 70 FMP 64.

 

-Group B: Marciulonis School (Lithuania) 120 Minsk (Belarus) 59, Zagreb (Croatia) 77 ASVEL (France) 82, Minsk 67 Zagreb 91, ASVEL 63 Marciulonis School 83, Marciulonis School 93 Zagreb 87 and ASVEL 78 Minsk 56.
