Centre Federal started the new season in the french NM1 losing its first 13 games. Team coached by Jacques Commeres is built one more year with very young players, but all these reacted some days ago and this last week-end added their third victory in a row beating Challans after an overtime (84-82). 2.02 forward Livio Jean Charles ('93) -the MVP of last NIJT after leading french team to the title- made a crazy game with 23 points (2/4 threes) and 12 rebounds, while guard Hugo Invernizzi ('93) scored 20 with 3/7 from downtown and Anthony Racine ('94) 11 with 3/7 threes also.
And what about the other two wins? They beat Roche (66-74) and Lievin (80-64). Checking the season stats the current best players are Invernizzi (14.7 points and 37% threes), Jean Charles -at the pic- (11.7 and 5.1 rebounds) and Racine (11.1 and 40% threes).
In the last three seasons they ended last on the standings, even they never go down because they own a spot in the league. At this moment they are at the bottom (3-13) but we will see if they can continue with this great moment.
