After seventeen victories in a row at serbian 1A league FMP Zeleznik lost last night its first game in the competition, in this case in Novi Sad against Vojvodina (77-74). Team coached by Bosko Djokic couldn't add another victory to their amazing 17-0 record. For the visitors guard Andreja Milutinovic ('90) -at the pic- finished with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Filip Covic ('89) added 12 points, 2 assists and 2 steals, while Nikola Markovic ('89) had 4 with 9 boards in only 23 minutes. Any prospects shining for Vojvodina? Dejan Kovacevic ('89) nailed 11 points (3/7 threes) and dished 4 assists. In another game played yesterday Stevan Jelovac ('89) led Mega Vizura in the win over Superfund (74-80) with 25 points (9/12 FG), 4 boards and 3 assists. In the losing effort Nikola Rondovic ('91) collected a double-double (17 points and 10 rebounds), scoring 3/5 from downtown.
FMP (17-1), that is leading the standings over Beograd (13-4) and Mega Vizura (12-6), will have a tough job in the second league stage, when Red Star, Hemofarm, Partizan and Radnicki will join the competition.
