St. Andrew's defeated North Broward Prep last week at regional quarterfinals of Florida High School 3A Championship. That lost meaning the end of the season for the Eagles of North Broward, a preparatory school sited at Coconut Creek where three European prospects are developing his talent. Croatians Josip Mikulic (’93) and Domagoj Samac (’93) with turkish Berkay Bulbun (’93) are pursuing his dream of play college basketball. Mikulic is the star of the team, and according to Hoop Scoop is 10th at Florida prospects ranking. Other sources put him among 30 high school prospects of the state. Eurohopes talked with Mikulic that left us his thought about the season, his very recently commitment with North Carolina State and his Europeans teammates.

-Once this season is over, what’s your balance of the season?
We have finished the season with pretty good record 21-6. We lost in quarterfinals at the regional tournament. I had a pretty good season with eleven times double double effect.

-You verbally committed with NC State last week. Why you choose be a Wolfpack?
I chose them because of their basketball history, the conference and competition they play. I also chose them because of their head coach, Sydney Lowe.

-Before college basketball, you have to spend senior year at high school. What would you’d like to improve next season?
I have to work on my foot work, jumping ability and I need to get stronger that I can finish strong at the basket.

-You aren’t the only European prospect at North Broward. What do you think of Domagoj Samac and Berkay Bulbun?
Domagoj Samac was injured the whole season. I have not see him play that much, but he was pretty good at the practice before he got injured. He has one more year to show his talent. Berkay Bulbun is a senior this year. He was practicing hard, but unfortunately he could not be imposed on this type of basketball.
