Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic ('90), from Southern California (NCAA), has been selected in the First Team All-Pac-10. According to the team's website he is the league's third-leading scorer at 17.7 points per game and top rebounder with 10.3 per game average. The junior has posted 20 double-doubles (double-digit points and rebound games), which ranks fifth nationally. Vucevic is attempting to become the first Trojan to average a double-double for a season since Jaha Wilson accomplished the feat during the 1994-95 season. He also ranks among the conference top 10 in field goal percentage (10th, .509), blocked shots (4th, 39), offensive rebounds (4th, 92), defensive rebounds (1st, 227) and minutes per game (2nd, 34.9).
In addition to these conference honors, Vucevic was named to the FOXSports.com All-America Fourth Team. Some days ago Alberto de Roa interviewed him for Eurohopes after the game against Arizona State in the Galen Center (at the pic). Check it here.
