One of the best high school games ever played took place yesterday in the final of 2011 ESPN RISE National High School Invitational between Warriors of Oak Hill (Virginia) and Mustangs of Montrose Christian (Maryland). In the event’s only three-year history, Montrose claimed their first title of NHSI after a thrilling two overtimes win by 71 to 64. Danish Kevin Larsen (’93) scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds, and was a key player for the Mustangs.
