The great polish 1993 generation -silver on last U-17 WC- showed again its level in the U-20 Holland Nordic Basketball Tournament, held in Groningen (Holland) last week-end. Poland earned the trophy with Piotr Niedzwiedzki ('93) awarded as the event's MVP. In the big final they beat Norway (69-55) behind Michal Michalak ('93) -22 points (9/14 FG) and 6 rebounds and Grzegorz Grochowski ('93), 14 with 6/12 FG and 4 assists. But they weren't alone. Tomasz Gielo ('93) pulled down 16 boards and Niedzwiedzki collected a double-double in only 18' (10 points and 12 rebounds). But let's check how polish arrived to the final.

-Poland U-18 61 Eisbären Bremerhaven 56 (semifinals): Michal Michalak ('93) 19 points (8/12 FG) and 3 rebounds in 20'.
