Hemofarm Stada -playing at home- and Red Star will face eachother tomorrow in the big final of the U-18 Serbian Final Eight, held in Vrsac (Serbia). In the semifinals played this afternoon Red Star beat Mega Vizura (91-88) and Hemofarm defeat Mladost (81-96). One of the big names of the event, Red Star guard Aleksander Cvetkovic ('93), only played 19 minutes due to a problem in the ankle. Let's check what happened in both contests.

Rising star Vasilije Micic ('94) -even he is one year younger than most of the players- couldn't help Mega Vizura to beat Red Star in the first semifinal. The guard collected a 38 index behind 31 points (11/14 twos, 2/4 threes and 3/7 ft), 10 assists and 7 rebounds. Beside him also shined Andrija Bojic ('93), who ended with 15 points (6/10 FG), 10 boards and 2 blocks. Red Star dominated the score during the first 30 minutes, but in the last quarter Mega almost surprised them with a 12-27 run. At the winners side, with Cvetkovic injured, shined lefty forward Ivan Saicic ('93). The prospect collected a huge 43 index with 30 points (8/9 twos, 1/3 threes and 11/12 ft), 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Youngster Nikola Cvorovic ('94) added 13 points, 11 boards and 2 assists.

The other final spot went for hosts of Hemofarm. As happened yesterday Nemanja Krstic ('93) finished again as the best piece at winners side with 31 points (11/22 FG), 4 rebounds and 1 assist. He became the key of the win, with the help of Djorde Milosevic ('93), 19 points and 5 boards, and Luka Mitrovic ('93), at the pic. The power-forward had 9 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. For Mladost scoring machine Sasa Avramovic ('93) nailed 26 (11/22 FG), with 5 boards and 5 assists. Cacak squad struggled at three points line (20%).
