Tunisia won the U-18 Cherbourg Tournament, held in the french city some days ago. African squad beat Switzerland in the big final (64-74). Omar Abada (Tunisia) was named MVP of the event, and also was selected in the All-Tournament Team with Ahmed Mannai (Tunisia), Théo Deluz ('93, Switzerland), Raphell Thomas-Edwards ('93, England) and Marko Mladjan ('93, Switzerland). The Dunk Contest was for Sofiane Mrad (Tunisia) and the Three-Pointers one for Peter Sakotic ('93 Belgrade).

 

Switzerland reached the final after beating Austria (73-70), Paris Levallois (67-53) and Manchester (85-46) in the first round, and England in semifinals (68-51). 

 

Final Standings: 1-Tunisia, 2-Switzerland, 3-England, 4-Manchester, 5-Belgrade, 6-Paris Levallois, 7-Austria and 8-Cherbourg.
