Fenerbahce Ulker is the new U-16 Turkish champion after winning the final against Galatasaray (65-49), in the tournament held in Kastamonu. The great defense in the second (15-4) and third (19-9) quarters became decisive in the final score. Even they scored 1/11 from downtown they won with a great effort in the rebound battle (48 to 32). Ayberk Güleryüz ('95) led the victory with 16 points (7/14 FG), 5 rebounds and 2 steals, while Mehmet Sanli ('95) added a double-double (12 points and 13 boards in 25 minutes). James Metecan Birsen ('95) had 12 points (6/16 FG) and 10 rebounds, being selected the MVP of the event. At the losing effort Batuhan Yilmaz ('95) ended with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 1 steal.
