And the U-21 Trophée du Futur arrived to the end. Nancy won the event held in Vichy after beating Paris Levallois in the big final, played this afternoon (68-91). After three days of competition Seychellois Abdel Kader Sylla ('90) led the victory with a 27 evaluation: 17 points (6/12 FG), 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Beside him Kevin Thalien ('92) -selected the MVP of the tournament- added 20 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists, while Kingsley Pinda ('92) had 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals.

 

Paris Levallois struggled during almost all the contest (they shocked at the beginning against Sylla, 9pt+3rb in 9'), winning only last quarter after reaching a 30 points deficit (72-42). With a crazy 2/25 from downtown is very difficult to win. Congolese Giovan Oniangue ('91) shined again with 18 points, 7 boards and 2 steals, while cameroonian Junior M'Bida ('90) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block. Not enough either.
