The semifinals will be played today in Bologna. Who will fight for a spot in the big game? Virtus Siena will face Olimpia Milano and UGF Virtus Bologna will do the same with Basket Crabs Rimini. -Virtus Siena 86 Aurora Desio 73: Amedeo Tessitori ('94) became unstoppable with a 34 valoration behind 28 points (9/15 FG), 15 rebounds and 1 steal. Beside him Matteo Imbrò ('94) added 21 points, 7 boards and 2 steals and Riccardo Rovere ('94) a double-double with 15 (6/9 FG) and 12 rebounds. The rebound dominance of Siena (56 to 39), one of the keys. At the losing effort Davide Passero ('94) ended as the best scorer with 18 points and 2/5 from downtown.
-Olimpia Milano 69 Trenkwalder Pallacanestro Reggiana 60: A good first quarter (21-11), the first step for Milano's win, with guard Federico de Bettin ('94) having 23 points (5/9 threes), 6 rebounds and 5 assists. His teammate Lorenzo Bartoli ('94) nailed 13 but with a crazy 1/10 from downtown, while youngster Andrea Merlati ('95) scored 11 pulling down 8 rebounds. Who shined for Reggiana? Giovanni Allodi ('94) had 13 points, 14 rebounds and 1 steal.
-Blu Orobica 89 Basket Rimini Crabs 92: In a very offensive contest the job of three prospects became decisive for Rimini. Youngster Leonardo Malagutti ('95) led the victory with 25 points (4/5 threes) and 4 rebounds, while Luca Brattoli ('94) added georgian Giga Janelidze ('95) crashed inside the pain with 18pt+24rb and 15pt+22rb (both grabbed 23 rebounds on offense). For Orobica Andrea Leone ('94) had 26 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists.
-UGF Virtus Bologna 73 Falconstar 72: Finally bolognese squad earned the last spot for semifinals even the crazy contest of rising-star Francesco Candussi ('94), who collected a 37 valoration with 26 points (9/18 FG), 16 rebounds and 3 steals. Gherardo Sabatini ('94) led the win with 27 points (7/12 FG), 8 rebounds and 3 steals, while youngster Simone Fontecchio ('95) had 12 points but 3/10 FG.
