Martinsicuro, an italian city 70 kilometers from Pescara, held last week-end an interesting U-20 Tournament, second "Memorial il Pozzo di Gabriele", with three teams that will compete in the Division "A" European Championship (Serbia, Croatia and Italy) and Finland. Finally hosts won the event after three victories in three contests. Let's see who shined in each of them.

 

With Alessandro Gentile ('92) scoring 24 points and Achile Polonara ('91) adding 14 Italy beat Serbia in the first game (76-74). At the losing effort Nemanja Nedovic ('91) had 18, Danilo Andjusic ('91) 16 and Dejan Musli ('91) 12. Finland didn't have any chance, being crashed by 34 points (69-35). In this case Andrea de Nicolao ('91) had 13 and Michele Vitali ('91) 10. At finnish side guard Antto Nikkarinen ('91) nailed 8. Finally italians defeat Croatia (64-57) behind a good job from Achile Polonara ('91) again: 14 points. Marco Ceron ('92) and Filippo Baldi Rossi ('91) added 7 apiece. At the losing effort Toni Brnas ('91) nailed 11.
