-Greece 90 Slovenia 83: With Katsivelis being the most important piece in Greece they added the second victory in two days. Linos Chrysikopoulos ('92), from Aris, became also important with 22, while 2.05 center Georgios Georgakis ('91), from Kavala added 11. Was a tied game, but greeks make a great second quarter (28-17) that helped them to win. Today they play against Italy in a game broadcasted by Rai Sport Sat (20.30h).
-Italy 95 Sweden 90: Italian coached decided not to use Melli, Fontecchio, Moraschini and De Nicolao, in order to find his final roster for the European Championship of Bilbao. Eventhough they beat swedish behind Alessandro Gentile ('92), from Benetton Treviso, with 20 points. Andrea Traini ('92) added 17 and Achille Polonara ('91) 14. At the losing effort Daniel Persson ('91) had 21 and Davidson's Chris Czerapowicz ('91) 17. Oregon State's Charles Barton ('92) scored 11, Radford's Lukas Winegarner ('91) 5 and Alabama's Carl Engström ('91) 2. Sweden started the last quarter losing by 21, but a 26-42 run gave them chances.
