Ok. There were only friendly games and Martin Kriz ('93) didn't play because he was ill. But Israel will play this summer in Division "B" and Czech Republic in Division "A". An important detail. Nymburk held this week three games between both U-18 squads, and all of them ended with hebrew win: 78-91 (Wednesday), 79-93 (Thursday) and 77-90 (today). Great step forward for Israel's preparation for the European Championship of Varna (Bulgaria).

 

Today Maine's recruitment Noam Laish ('93) -at the pic- led Israel with 18 points (included 5 threes), helped by Ben Altit ('93) with 16. The 2.05 power-forward will play for Bryant University, in Rhode Island, next season. At the losing effort Michal Bernáth ('93) tailled 14 (the same as yesterday), while Petr Herman ('94) had 13.
