Italy won the U-18 Reggio Calabria Tournament, held in the italian city at the south of the country, after adding three victories in three games. Team coached by Stefano Bizzozi beat Germany (72-60), Greece (80-57) and France (70-69). Great step forward for them to prepare the Division "A" European Championship of this summer in Poland.

 

In the contest against France, played yesterday, Siena's guard Matteo Imbro ('94) led the win with 14 points, while Amedeo Della Valle ('93) added 11. Forward Raphael Gaspardo ('93), from Benetton Treviso, finished as the best scorer of the event averaging 14.0 points.
