In the game against hosts Turkey won 77-63 behind Kartal Özmizrak ('95) and Cedi Osman ('95), who scored 14 points apiece. Finally, in the opener, they beat Latvia (75-52). Best scorers at the winning effort were Osman, with 14 and 4 boards, and Ayberk Güleryüz ('95) with 10 and 5 rebounds. Osman finished as turkish best scorer in all three games (12.0), while Güleryüz had 11.0.
