Breaking news coming from Spain. Icelandic Haukur Pálsson ('92) has reached an agreement with Assígnia Manresa (ACB). The 6'6'' small-forward arrives to the Catalonian team after Swedish Marcus Eriksson ('93) left to Regal FC Barcelona. The prospect will have license in the second team (EBA) but will be the eleventh man of the ACB squad. He lands in Manresa after one season in Maryland (NCAA). With the Terrapins he averaged 2.8 points and 2.1 rebounds in 10 minutes.
Pálsson has played this summer the U20 Division "B" European Championship, in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina), finishing as the fourth best scorer (22.7) and the fourth best rebounder (10.0) of the event. He added 2.0 assists and 1.6 steals. He collected a double-double in five of his seven games.
