Enes Kanter ('92), the turkish center who hasn't played an official game for two years (except some HS sparks two seasons ago), was one of the big names of the opener at the Eurobasket. The Utah Jazz draftee finished as the best scorer of the easy win over Portugal (79-56) behind 14 points (12 at the first half) and 7 rebounds in only 22 minutes. He needs to play top-level contests before making his first steps in the NBA. Must follow him during the tournament how he developes. Let's check other good performances of prospects:

-Tornike Shengelia ('91, Georgia): 13 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block in the victory over Belgium (59-81).

-Sasu Salin ('91, Finland): 13 points with 3/7 threes and 2 boards in the losing effort against Croatia (84-79).

-Davis Bertans ('92, Latvia): 9 points and 3 rebounds in 13 minutes in the losing effort against France (89-78).

-Martins Meiers ('91, Latvia): 8 points and 3 boards in 11 minutes in the losing effort against France (89-78).

-Nihad Dedovic ('90, Bosnia and Herzegovina): 8 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in the losing effort against Greece (76-67).
