Bulgaria won the Silver medal at the 3x3 FIBA Youth World Championship, held last week in Rimini (Italy), after losing the final game against New Zealand (19-18). Pavlin Ivanov ('93), from Benetton Treviso, Tencho Tenchev ('93), from Rimini, Aleks Simeonov ('93) and Dimitar Dimitrov ('93) were the players competing with bulgarian NT. In the game for the bronze medal Italy defeated Estonia (21-13) behind Matteo Chillo ('93), Mirco Turel ('94), Diego Monaldi ('93) and Amedeo Tessitori ('94).

 

Other interesting prospects competing? Aitor Gómez ('93, Spain), Lukas Festr ('94, Czech Republic), Ceslavs Mateikovics ('94, Latvia), Marko Ramljak ('93, Croatia) or Niklas Ney ('95, Germany).
