He landed this summer to FC Barcelona Regal from Unelco Tenerife, and he is already showing his potential. Spaniard Adnan Omeragic ('96) -at the pic on the right- led his team to the its second win in a row in the U16 Villa de la Orotava tournament, in Canary Islands, behind a great performance of the 6'8'' small-forward. He had 15 points (6/9 FG), 9 rebounds and 1 block in 24 minutes against Kaunas Aisciai (77-63). At the losing effort Gaudvinas Borisovas ('96) ended with 19 but 7/19 FG. In the other game of this group Canterbury defeated Brose Baskets 70-57 in another show from its african duo. Jonathan Kasibabu ('96) had 21 points, 20 rebounds and 5 blocks and Bourama Sidibe ('97) 24+22+2. At german side Andreas Obst ('96) collected a double-double (17 points and 10 rebounds) but with a crazy shooting card (6/24 FG).

 

In group A ukranians of Krania beat Gran Canaria (48-75) with another good job from Olexandr Kobets ('96): 21 points, 13 rebounds and 2 steals. At the losing effort Thomas Van Haaren ('96) -at the pic on the left, last year in Unelco with Omeragic- had 18 points, 10 rebounds and 3 blocks. Finally Real Madrid crashed local squad of San Isidro (113-15) with Santiago Yusta ('97) leading white team: 21 points, 8 boards and 2 blocks.
