FC Barcelona Regal is the new champion of the U14 Vasas Intesa Sanpaolo Cup, held in Budapest (Hungary), after beating Olimpija Ljubljana in the final (117-66) behind a good job from Hugo Bartolomé ('98), who scored 22 points. At the losing effort Haris Cucovic ('98) had 21. Slovenian Luka Doncic ('99) -at the pic-, son of former player Sasa, was selected the MVP of the event. The All-Tournament Team (beside Doncic) was for Peter Doktor ('98, Vasas), Luca Labus ('98, Olimpija Ljubljana), Pol Figueras ('98, FC Barcelona), Maxim Esteban ('98, FC Barcelona) and Mateo Habazin ('98, Cibona).

 

Final standings: 1-FC Barcelona Regal, 2-Olimpija Ljubljana, 3-Cibona Zagreb, 4-Vasas MKB Euroleasing, 5-Bosna Sarajevo and 6-Sabonis BC.
