In the danish Ligaen we can find one of the best european prospects in his age. 6'11'' PF Rasmus Larsen is playing for Vaerlose, a team currently with a 2-4 record, averaging 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks in 17 minutes. These stats are almost the same as the ones he did last season: 6.8 points and 3.6 boards. Larsen is one of the desires of many top level teams. Joventut Badalona tried several times last years to sign him after inviting him to play in some tournaments. The future? A couple of summers ago, during the U16 European Championship of Montenegro, he said his desire to play in NCAA. At the moment he decided to stay at his home country.

 

Denmark will play next summer in Division "A" after winning the spot some months ago in Varna (Bulgaria). Larsen & Co. got silver medal in the Division "B" tournament, with the PF being named in the All-Tournament team. He averaged 11.1 points, 8.8 rebounds and 1.9 blocks.
