Geoplin Slovan and LTHcast Mercator faced yesterday in Ljubjlana in the Slovenian Cup, in a game with plenty of prospects. Bad news came from Blaz Mahkovic ('90), injured during the contest. The player of club located in Skofja Loka will be sidelined for two weeks. Locals won 86-84, so game 2 of the eliminatory will decide the team that will make it to second round. Luka Rupnik ('93) -at the pic- led the victory with 17 points, while Maj Kovacevic ('90) added 16 and Marko Pajic ('92) 12.  

 

At the losing effort also intriguing names. Mahkovic, who only played first 15 minutes, scored 12, the same points as Djordje Micic ('93). Kosovan guard Erjon Kastrati ('94) nailed 10.
