Kevin Bright ('92) will be a Commodore next season. The german small-forward committed with Vanderbilt (NCAA) some months ago, showing that the goal he explained to us in the interview we made him in November 2009 will become a reality. This season he is growing in german ProA, with Ehingen, beside another prospect with the same idea to go to NCAA: Malik Müller ('94). Bright is averaging 10.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists. Team coached by Ralph Junge is with a 6-8 record, after beating MBC last night (89-77). We contacted him.

 

"This season so far is really tough, specially for a team who just moved up to another level with the youngest squad in the league. Sure we got a lack of experience but what characterized our team the whole years is our talent. And the talent of us, young guys, combined with mature teammates is a definitly good mixture". The prospect also talked about his future with the Commodores: "from the NCAA I expect that it's going to be hard to change the game style, but I think that I won't have major problems to adjust my game. I already played against proffesional and players who came out from college on a high level".
