We discovered him when he was playing his first season at INSEP Centre Federal. And we also watched him on live in his home town, Metz, during the U18 Division "A" European Championship in 2009. That was the event of Jonas Valanciunas ('92) and Enes Kanter ('92), but also other names like Fournier, Westerman or Musli. Vincent Pourchot ('92) impressed us with his height (7'3'') and skills in the tournament when he was on court (3.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10 minutes. After he left INSEP he landed in Nancy last summer, playing with Espoirs team and sometimes sitting in the bench with ProA squad. Yesterday he made a crazy performance. He crashed Pau-Orthez (72-110) with 26 points (11/13 twos, 0/1 threes and 4/6 free throws), 26 rebounds, 15 blocks and 3 assists. No words to explain this.

In the stats recap of Espoirs league Pourchot is second in the MVP race (24.0) behind Pau-Orthez Pierre Pelos ('92, 26.4) and over his former teammate in INSEP Hugo Invernizzi ('93, 22.3), from Strasbourg. He is also the best rebounder (12.8).

We contacted him: "I'm happy with my performance because it proves that all the efforts I made was to get paid. But I still have a lot of work to do to reach my goal". Pourchot added that "I want to qualify for the playoff with Nancy and won like last year".
