Volodymyr Gerun ('94) has no doubts. The ukranian 6'8'' power-forward wants to play in USA and he has decided to make a step forward to get this. Eurohopes has learned that the prospect is currently working out at Canarias Basketball Academy (CBA), in Canary Islands (Spain), with former Basketball without Borders teammates and friends Shane Hammink ('94), Oskars Reinfelds ('94) and Dale Francis ('94). He has no intention of signing with a professional team as his dream is to play college basketball in USA.

 

Gerun, last seasons in his home country with Dnipro, played last summer the U18 European Championship in Poland, averaging 18.2 points, 11.1 rebounds and 2.1 blocks.
