Maccabi is dominating the regular season of the Adriatic League. Team coached by David Blatt added Monday another victory and now is with a 19-1 record, over Cedevita (16-4) and Partizan (15-6). Their last victim was Hemofarm. Serbian squad is struggling in the standings (5-16), even they aren't competing still in domestic league, where they will add in the next round with Partizan, Red Star and Radnicki. Against Maccabi they lost (85-64) with Djordje Gagic ('90) making his best game of this season. 6'11'' center made a great job against powerhouse, but not enough: 14 points (4/9 twos and 6/9 free throws), 10 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks in only 22 minutes. Eurohopes contacted him.

Prospect explains us that "was a good game, but severe damage was that we did not win. Eventhough Maccabi is one of the best teams in Europe, so we are basically satisfied". Gagic is averaging 9.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in 19 minutes during the last three games. Before never played more than 10 minutes but after Boris Savovic left to Galatasaray he is having more opportunities. The player, who is in a group with talented youngsters such as Luka Mitrovic ('93), Nemanja Dangubic ('93) or Nemanja Krstic ('93), tells that about his teammates that "Hemofarm is a very good team to work well with young players and is stable as a club". And his goal? "To use every minute on the field to gain as much experience and as a team to ensure survival in the ABA league". Gacic signed a three years contract with Hemofarm last summer after one season and a half playing with KK Mornar in Montenegro.
