Marko Mugosa ('93) is playing for KK Podgorica after being loaned from Buducnost. 6'4'' small-forward made a crazy performance some days ago in the victory over Jedinstvo (88-79) at montenegrin first division, collecting a triple-double: 25 points (8/15 twos, 0/5 threes and 9/9 free throws), 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Is one of the european prospects with better stats: 21.1 points, 6.3 boards and 2.5 assists in 36 minutes. But after losing against Ulcinj few days ago they don't have chances to make it to the second round. We contacted him.
Mugosa tells that "we didn't achieve our team's goal because we won't play Superliga. My personal goal is to progress more as a player and to give my maximum every match". Going to the States was an option: "I had a lot of offers from Europe, and especially from America, but I signed a 4-years professional contract with KK Buducnost". Next summer Montenegro with play the U20 Division "A" European Championship in Slovenia. Mugosa explains that "this year will be very hard because we will play against Serbia, Germany and France in the group. Very big succes would be if we beat some of that teams". The prospect adds that "Montenegro has a lot of young talented players despite of us (Mugosa and Ivanovic) and we will try to justify what everyone expect from us".
