Marko Meimer ('96), one of the best 50 european players of his generation, led Tiit Soku KK to the title of U16 Estonian Championship ans was selected MVP of the Final Four. In the final against KK Pärnu (73-67) 6'6'' forward had 21 points (9/17 twos and 3/5 free throws), 12 rebounds and 2 assists. In semifinals they defeated Salva/Tartu Ülikool II (84-65) with the prospect finishing with 18 points (6/11 twos, 0/2 threes and 6/6 free throws), 8 rebounds and 2 steals. 

 

Other nordic 1996 born players with interesting future are swedish Ludvig Hakanson, from Barcelona, and Rinalds Malmanis, from Caja Laboral.
