Janis Timma ('92) is one of the latvian pearls in the market. 6'6'' forward has ended his contract with Liepajas, where this season has averaged 13.8 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in domestic competition. Ventspils has made him an offer, but still hasn't decided. Now is focus in starting to prepare the U20 European Championship, that will be held this summer in Slovenia, beside other prospects like Silins, Berzins or Dukulis. "We will do our best", explains Timma.
Forward needs to decide where to continue his way: "I expect a better and faster developement in my career". Eventhough the player adds that "my valoration of last season is very good. I think I've done a good progression. I know that next season will be just my first big step in my career. Of course it has been a very good job of my coaches of this year, Agris Galvanovskis and Arturs Stalbergs".
