Big tournament the one that will be held in Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) in three weeks. Three teams competing a few days after in the U17 World Championship of Kaunas (Lithuania) have choosen the island to make part of the preparation for the lithuanian event. USA, Australia and Spain will join Latvia in the Final Four format tournament. On June 24th there will be both semifinals (USA-Latvia at 18.30h and Spain-Australia at 20.15h), and one day later the final (20.15h) and the bronze medal contest (18.30h). Huge group of prospects, with the best american players of this generation and intriguing European players such us spanish Ilimane Diop ('95) or latvian Rolands Smits ('95). Eurohopes staff will travel there to update you.

 

For american team Gran Canaria will host one of the best prospects of last years. 6'7'' Jabari Parker -at the pic-, from Simeon High School, in Chicago (Illinois). He will be the main wheapon of kids coached by Don Showalter.
