One of the biggest European prospects Rasmus Larsen (’94) changed club this summer. Despite many satisfactory offers from all over the Europe he landed in ACB’s Assignia Manresa. “I’m very happy in Manresa, even though it’s a big change for me” - he tells to Europes.

Compared not without reasons to Dirk Nowitzki, Larsen decided to parts away with his home club Vaerlose BBK to keep improving increasingly. Danish forward was targeted by best Spanish and Italian teams, however he landed in small Catalan team Assignia Manresa from ACB. 18-year old talent has already made a debut in a new uniform and has been preparing in a new environment for almost month. “I'm very happy in Manresa, conditions are fine, even though it’s a big change for me, I'm still very happy about it.” - he shares with his first impressions. Contrary to another talent from 1994 generation Dario Saric, Larsen has no objections to join ACB, considered as the strongest European leage and expects to see satisfactory minutes on the court in the upcoming season. “My goal is to play with the ACB team the whole season, and be an important player to the team to get better and improve, and of course to improve my own game” - tells about his goals.

Earlier this summer Larsen represented his country at European Championship U18 Division “B” in Lithuania. He was best scorer and rebounder for the team with averages of 15.7 points and 8.2 rebounds, nonetheless Denmark did not avoid relegation to Division “B” with 1-8 result. Playing with his peers, Larsen showed versatile skills and got minutes on position 3-5. What is his targeted spot on senior level? “I see myself as power forward/center and the club does that too” - explains. According to many mock draft Larsen could be even lottery pick in 2014 NBA Draft, however he is going to be auto-eligible only in 2016. So when does he intend to enter his name to NBA Draft? “I haven't talk about entering the draft any sooner with my agents yet, and I don't feel I'm in a hurry right now”.
