Due to some technical issues and limitation of Internet our online activity is a bit passive, however it doesn't mean that we were sleeping during first day of Vasas Intesa Cup U14 in Budapest, Hungary.
Probably most of our readers expect list of best names and detailed scouting reports on them, nonetheless game levell at U14 (this year 1999 generation!) is so inconsistent, that we can't simply predict or judge basing only on 40 minutes of action. Hope this statement doesn't disappoint you, dear readers, however we have to hold on with our first impressions.
From the other hand it should be admitted that Vasas Intesa Cup U14 is well-organized and our staff has met in Budapest with the highest possible level of hospitality. Big thanks to manager Balazs Radics, who takes care on the competitions. So far everything goes well.
Vasas Intesa Cup is a simply "must-be" for all scouts. Here in Budapest once a year is a such unique opportunity to take a closer look on first basketball steps of future possible national representants of countries like Italy, Lithuania, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina or Slovenia. Despite game at U14 is really simply (maybe boring for someone?) it allows to scout all necessary aspects of basketball skills like: spacing, 1-on-1 offensive skillset, team defense or just court attitude.
